He had severe respiratory distress with pink frothy secretions pouring from the mouth.Clinical and radiological examination was suggestive of NPE.Child was immediately ventilated and all supportive measures were started.
Child showed Foot Mask marked improvement within 48 h of admission with diuresis and positive end-expiratory pressure (PEEP) assisted ventilation.
